A customer specification may say “vibration tested” or “environmentally qualified”, but a laboratory needs a controlled product configuration and an exact test plan. ConformArc helps engineering teams translate the requirement into specimens, profiles, fixtures, operating conditions and pass/fail criteria before engaging a suitable laboratory.
The first review identifies the product and variants, relevant standard or customer specification, transport and operating environment, mounting orientation, sample condition, functional checks and evidence required at the end. Vibration and shock profiles, temperature cycles and humidity exposures address different stresses. IEC 60068 is a family of environmental test methods; citing the family alone does not define a complete test.
An agreed workstream can include a specification gap map, proposed sequence, specimen and fixture plan, witness or monitoring needs, laboratory coordination and a failure or retest decision path. The appointed laboratory defines and runs its contracted tests and issues its reports. ConformArc does not represent itself as the owner of chambers, shakers or an accredited laboratory.
The report should be traceable to the product configuration, standard or customer method, severity, duration, axes, operating mode, acceptance criteria and observations. Design changes after a failure may require a documented retest decision. Regulatory acceptance or customer qualification is a separate conclusion; a single report should not be marketed as blanket certification.
Method, severity, axes, fixture, duration, sample condition and acceptance criteria all matter.
Usually no. The applicable customer or regulatory route determines how the report is used.
Development testing may be valuable, but formal qualification evidence must identify the tested configuration and any later changes.
