Who this is for
CNC machine manufacturers and exporters that need safety and market-access evidence for a specific machine, separate from calibration or purchase-acceptance work.
Industrial Compliance
ConformArc handles the initial enquiry and helps connect you with a relevant provider for this requirement. The selected provider confirms applicability, technical scope, deliverables, fees and timing. The following explains work that may be relevant to the project; it is not a fixed package supplied by ConformArc.

CNC machine manufacturers and exporters that need safety and market-access evidence for a specific machine, separate from calibration or purchase-acceptance work.
ConformArc helps CNC machine manufacturers and exporters find relevant safety and compliance support. Share the machine type, intended operation, automation interfaces and destination market for a suitable specialist introduction. Safety assessment, calibration and purchase-acceptance testing are different services; the provider confirms which work it can perform.
A selected specialist confirms the applicable scope, availability, quotation and deliverables.
A machining centre, turning machine and other numerically controlled equipment do not necessarily share one test package. The machine type, intended materials, enclosure, loading method, control functions and integration with other equipment influence the review. Applicable machine-specific standards should be identified by the technical specialist rather than selected only because the product is described as CNC.
A useful scope describes how the operator loads parts, changes tooling, sets up the machine, clears faults and performs maintenance. Guarding, access controls and safety functions must be considered in relation to those tasks. Automated loading, conveyors or a robot can change the assembly boundary and introduce additional integration questions.
Electrical and EMC evidence should refer to the intended operating configuration. The settings, accessories, control software and connected equipment used for an assessment should be recorded so that later changes can be reviewed.
The agreed scope can include machine-boundary review, a technical-document checklist, risk-assessment coordination, electrical/EMC workstream planning and tracking of corrective actions. Specialist assessments and laboratory reports are issued by the appointed parties. The manufacturer retains responsibility for its design and applicable conformity obligations.
For EU projects, the applicable machinery framework and transition timing must be established for the supply circumstances. See Machinery Safety & CE Compliance for the current route-planning context.
Safety assessment addresses hazards and protective measures. Calibration or accuracy evaluation addresses measurement/performance characteristics. Factory or site acceptance checks delivery against an agreed contract or specification. A result from one of these workstreams should not be represented as completing all three.
If you need positioning accuracy, repeatability or condition inspection, identify that requirement in the enquiry. It requires separate confirmation of specialist capability and is not automatically included in this service.
Request a CNC scope review. Related areas are covered on the Industrial Compliance hub.
No. The equipment type and assessment purpose determine the relevant requirements and scope.
Component evidence can support the review, but the complete machine and integration still need to be considered.
Not unless a separate scope is explicitly accepted. The core service is safety and conformity coordination.
Appointed specialists and laboratories issue their own deliverables. ConformArc coordinates the agreed workstreams.
