Make the project fit the business requirement
An ISO 27001 enquiry should start with the business activities, systems, teams and locations that need to be covered. If a customer has specified the certification scope or a deadline, include that information. If you are unsure what belongs in scope, request an initial assessment rather than selecting a generic package.

Can we obtain certification simply by buying templates?
A document set alone does not demonstrate that the management system is operating. Your team needs to implement the relevant processes and retain suitable evidence.
